#35 – Developing Athletes
Our Middle School Athletics program is focused on fostering an enjoyment of physical activity and creating discipline. For many students, Middle School Athletics provide a continuation of activities from Elementary School. But for some, this opportunity is an introduction to the athletic world, so our program seeks to provide wholesome alternatives in the use of leisure time while at the same time, building motor skills and developing students' physical capacities in the areas of strength, flexibility, and cardio-respiratory fitness. 
Using the team concept, we provide opportunities for students to develop proper attitudes toward winning and losing, cooperation in a team atmosphere, self-control, as well as personal responsibility and accountability.
